On my drive home tonight, I saw my first Christmas lights! At first I was shocked - after all, Thanksgiving is still a week away. But then, I thought about it: who cares? They're festive! They're colorful! They made me giggle a little after a rough day at the office.I love the time between Thanksgiving and Christmas. I enjoy seeing other people's decorations, listening to seasonal music and getting gifts ready. So, those few strands of lights on the front porch of a home on West Hillsdale Boulevard made me smile tonight and made me happy that it's almost my favorite time of the year!
